JOSKAS Outstanding Young Investigator Award 受賞報告

弘前大学大学院医学研究科整形外科学講座　佐々木　英嗣

　2014年度の日本関節鏡・膝・スポーツ整形外科学会(JOSKAS)におきまして、英語論文の年間掲載数からOutstanding Young Investigator Awardに選出いただきました。素晴らしい賞を受賞させていただき、大変光栄に思っております。この場をお借りして受賞の報告と研究内容の紹介をさせていただきます。
　私の大学院での研究分野は変形性膝関節症の疫学調査とスポーツ選手のコンディショニングに関する研究でした。2013年度に掲載された論文は以下の論文4編です。1)膝痛がロコモティブシンドロームに最も強く影響することを示した「Evaluation of locomotive disability using loco-check: a cross-sectional study in the Japanese general population」、2)一般住民におけるGeneralized osteoarthritis有病率を算出し、変形性膝関節症の血清biomarkerである血清ヒアルロン酸濃度との関連を多重解析した「Serum hyaluronan levels increase with the total number of osteoarthritic joints and are strongly associated with the presence of knee and finger osteoarthritis」、3)人工膝関節置換術施行後の患者立脚型評価が従来型の医師立脚型評価と異なるoutcomeを示すことを示した「Relationship between patient-based outcome score and conventional objective outcome scales in postoperative total knee arthroplasty patients」、4)アスリート（柔道選手）の疲労を好中球機能や酸化ストレスの面から評価した「Effect of glutamine supplementation on neutrophil function in male judoists」になります。
　研究デザインの考え方や論文作成の基本からご指導いただきました石橋恭之教授はじめ、ご協力いただきました皆様にこの場をお借りして深く御礼申し上げます。また、今後も臨床での疑問に向かい合い、様々な角度から解決に向けて取り組んでいけるよう努力していく所存ですので、ご指導のほどよろしくお願いいたします。
